Wishing you a peaceful and delicious holiday feast!
Chai-Nog: A Cozy Cold-Weather Drink
Cozy up with a warm cup of Chai-Nog! Perfect for holidays by the fire. Just mix one part chai tea (from a tea bag) with one part egg nog (non-dairy nog is great too), then sprinkle with nutmeg. Spike it with a bit of whiskey or rum for a nightcap!

Cookbook Giveaway
As a little holiday gift to you, my lovely readers, I am doing a Cookbook Giveaway! You can enter to win one of 3 cookbooks: Baked Elements, Home Made Winter or Edible Selby. I love the Baked bakery in Brooklyn and Home Made & Edible Selby books have a beautiful mix of illustration and photography (you know I love that!). These are 3 of my absolute favorite cookbooks that have come out this season!! They are all from Abrams (my publisher, part of the reason I chose them!) and each is so beautifully, artfully done.
To be entered in a drawing to win, follow @theforestfeast on Twitter, and then tweet your favorite Forest Feast recipe like this:
My favorite @theforestfeast recipe is [insert recipe link here]. Tweet yours & enter to win a @abramsbooks cookbook!! http://bit.ly/Zm0Ut4
Good luck and happy holidays! The 3 winners will be announced one week from today on Thursday Dec. 27th and cookbooks will be shipped the first week of January.
